These units are installed in stages. The first pass removes coarse particles. The second and third passes clean up finer material. This staged approach boosts purity levels without reducing throughput.

Protecting Sensitive Machinery with Overbelt Magnets

These units are used late in the process. After the large material is separated, high-intensity units polish off the fine contaminants. Perfect for gold, tungsten, and rare earth operations.

In mines with slurry pumps or hydraulic systems, small ferrous particles can damage seals and wear out parts fast. That’s where a magnetic dirt separator fits in.
These units sit inline in pipe systems. As slurry or fluid passes through, the magnet captures any metal grit or filings. That keeps the rest of the system safe.
They are especially useful in gold mining and process water recycling, where equipment life is critical.

There’s no one-size solution. Mines must choose based on the ore, the volume, and where the magnet will be placed in the line. A mix of low intensity magnetic separator and high intensity magnetic separator is often the best combo.
For high-grade ore, simple systems will do. For complex blends or materials near the cut-off grade, smarter setups are needed.
